Have A Happy Period?

There are 3 women/girls in my home.... Two with awful monthly bills and one more soon to come... and whenever there is a sale on the unmentionables - I load up... Last Sunday's coupons offered - buy 1 get one free on Tampax tampons, Always pads, and feminine wipes... What I love about Target is the sales they offer... So not only did I get 3 free boxes - I got a gift card for $5 for buying two boxes... Net price for a box of Tampax $1.00... Each box was $6.00 for a total of $12.00 - one box free (-$6.00) and a free - $5.00 gift card = $1.00...

I was so happy to be making the deals of the century - until I got THE advertisement - it wasn't even a coupon..... and at the bottom of this advertisement for Always Maxi pads was the statement that turn ALL women completely INSANE.....

Have a Happy Period. Guaranteed*.... only a man would be this dumb!

LOL...I don't get that either. A period can't be happy no matter what

I like to think that the * then leads to a statement at the bottom..

*Individual results may vary.

I love that disclaimer, because it makes it sound like it's YOUR fault if the product doesn't make you a happy dancing person like in the commercials.

Fantastic deal though.

Must have been a man because surly a woman would not have thought of that!!! Have you notice that you and your daughter have "it" around the same time every month?

I can assure you that my wife has NEVER had a happy period.

Kelly,

I've read an article about that and I would agree that having a happy period isn't something that any woman looks forward to.

This is the dumbest advertising possible.

This reminds me when I took a graduate class about teaching sex ed. In it the professor told how in her house they celebrate the first flow, and embrace each one after that as a sign of maturity. I always thought she was weird!
Good friend of mine has 4 daughters, she says she is going to start buying stock in Kimberly Clark. Maybe you need to take her lead.....

Oh, buhahaha! This is great! Yes, definitely a man came up with that advertising campaign!

I just wanted to remind you that Momentous Monday starts tomorrow if you would like to join in!
