Somethings Should Not Be Posted On Face Book First!

As many of you know - I am a Face Book junkie... Yes, my name is Kelly and I am a Face Book junkie... But I have to say - there are some things you DO NOT put on Face Book until you have talked to your family.... your loved ones... As my work day was winding down - I went to check Face Book to see what was going on..... with my friends and loved ones.. This is what I read from my sister.... my best friend... ON FACE BOOK!!!!!

Status: Debbie - I'm scheduled for brain surgery on November 19th to remove a tumor. Prayers are appreciated... I'm a little overwhelmed with this.. I know it'll be OK.. but just a bit scared :) Yes, my dear sister put a little smiley face at the end of her status.....

As you can imagine, I called that little missy right up on the phone and chewed her out for not calling me first... What was she thinking posting this before letting me know... I'll tell you, I gave her the what for and the what not.... Because of course, it's always about me....

So, I ask you friends in blogger land - please lift my sister, Debbie up in prayer... Please pray that the doctors will remove the tumor without complications... Pray that Debbie will feel peace and know that she is in God's hands.... Please pray for her two daughters and her husband that they will be a strong support for her... that they will also find peace and that God's loving hand will be felt during this trying time...

Kelly,

Lifting up Debbie right now as I type this that God will guide the doctors hands to remove all the tumor without any complications. I ask that God give each of them peace and comfort as they prepare for this surgery and may God heal her as quickly as possible. In Jesus' name, AMEN!

I've been guilty of posting my life on facebook before telling family, so I completely understand. I'll keep her in my prayers.

Kelly, I will join you and your family and friends praying for your sister.

Everything has a name and this tumor has a name and all things are under the name of Jesus. Father I lift up Kelly's sister and I pray LORD that she will feel your peace that surpasses all understanding, I pray Lord, that she will be healed in the name of Jesus and that she will know the One more completely whose name she is under.
I pray Father for the doctors and nurses who will be caring for her to be under Your authority, to be guided by the hands and wisdom of the Great Physician.
Father I lift to you the family and pray Lord that as they watch their wife and mother go through this they will see your hand at work in a mighty way and that will understand and call on You with greater faithfulness and confidence.
In Jesus name I pray. Thank you Lord.

I will pray. My MIL has been diagnosed with brain cancer and just had her tumor removed. Chemo and radiation started this week.

Let us know how it goes, and let your sister know that I am praying.
