My Grown Up Love Song....
It's time for Musical Monday - What Moves You? Hosted by Diane at Good Mourning, Glory. Be sure to visit her - she in an incredible mother, woman, writer, and artist. Thank you, Diane!
When I was in my first grown up relationship - I was so afraid to give my heart... I was so afraid to be hurt... again.. This song was dedicated to me on the radio back in 1988 - from that moment on..... I became a Billy Vera and The Beaters Fan....
WOW this was a blast from the past. Mine would have to be Heat of the Moment from Asia. I still remember where I was, who I was with and the old Member's Only jackets!
That's a great song! His voice sounds so familiar.
I'm so lucky in that I'm still with my real first love. There was a boy before him though that whenever I hear a Natalie Merchant song called King of May that makes me think of him though. He sadly passed away a few years ago now. It's truly a beautiful song.

I loved Billy Vera back in the 80's. His ballads are so beautiful and timeless.
Whenever I hear the song, Hands to Heaven by Breathe, I think of my old high school love.

I have not heard of it but it's great, even greater when it's dedicated to you. That must have been heartwarming.
