Special "K" Bars - July Recipe #2

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO SEND ME YOUR FAVORITE RECIPE!!!

Special K Bars - A Favorite Sent To My Daughter by Her Great Aunt Audrey

1 Cup White Sugar
1 Cup White Syrup
2 Tablespoons butter

Mix in pan and set aside

5 cups Special K (set aside)

1 cup Peanut butter (set aside)

Bring syrup mixture to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and stir in the cup of peanut butter. Pour over 5 cups of Special K and mix thoroughly. Pour into cake pan. Let cool...

Frosting

1 bag of butterscotch chips
1 bag of chocolate chips

Frost with 1 package of butterscotch chips and 1 package of chocolate chips. Melt chips in microwave oven. It takes about one and a half minutes in my microwave. Check after one minute and then return them to oven for a few seconds. Stir and spread on bars..
